With the “Un hôtel pour mes parents” project, the Fondation Comyces pour l'Enfance offers a simple but essential solution: enabling parents to stay close to their child, thanks to free hotel accommodation, at the times that matter most.
When illness strikes a child, staying together becomes a priority. With the “An hotel for my parents” project, the Comyces Foundation offers families access to free nights in a hotel to enable them to stay close, where everything is at stake.
SOLIDARITY THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Accompanying a sick child means above all being present. Yet for many families, finding accommodation close to the hospital is a huge challenge. Solutions like Airbnb, while useful, remain costly and ill-suited to these situations.
“The Un Hôtel Pour Mes Parents scheme enabled us to avoid the costly use of Airbnb by being accommodated free of charge in a quality hotel. When we were told that the most suitable hospital for our 4-year-old child was over 600 km from our home, we didn't hesitate to make the trip. This scheme enabled us to manage this constraint and stay together.”
